The SGI Visual Workstation seems to be dead; remove support so we don't have to continue maintaining it. Cc: Andrey Panin <pazke@donpac.ru> Cc: Michael Reed <mdr@sgi.com> Link: http://lkml.kernel.org/r/530CFD6C.7040705@zytor.com Signed-off-by: H. Peter Anvin <hpa@linux.intel.com>
2014-01-17video/logo: Remove MIPS-specific include sectionGeert Uytterhoeven
Since commit 41702d9a4fffa9e25b2ad9d4af09b3013fa155e1 ("logo.c: get rid of mips_machgroup") there's no longer a need to include <asm/bootinfo.h> on MIPS. 2013-09-11Bye, bye, WfW flagLinus Torvalds
This reverts the Linux for Workgroups thing. And no, before somebody asks, we're not doing Linux95. Not for a few years, at least. Sure, the flag added some color to the logo, and could have remained as a testament to my leet gimp skills. But no. And I'll do this early, to avoid the chance of forgetting when I'm doing the actual rc1 release on the road. Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@linux-foundation.org>

2012-01-13module_param: make bool parameters really bool (drivers & misc)Rusty Russell
module_param(bool) used to counter-intuitively take an int. In fddd5201 (mid-2009) we allowed bool or int/unsigned int using a messy trick. It's time to remove the int/unsigned int option. For this version it'll simply give a warning, but it'll break next kernel version. Acked-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Rusty Russell <rusty@rustcorp.com.au>
2009-06-16fbdev: move logo externs to header fileGeert Uytterhoeven
Now we have __initconst, we can finally move the external declarations for the various Linux logo structures to <linux/linux_logo.h>. James' ack dates back to the previous submission (way to long ago), when the logos were still __initdata, which caused failures on some platforms with some toolchain versions. This reverts commit 8032b526d1a3bd91ad633dd3a3b5fdbc47ad54f1. Hey, it was only meant to be a single release. Now they can all die as far as I'm concerned. [ Just kidding. They're cute and cuddly. 2007-10-18logo.c: get rid of mips_machgroupRalf Baechle
This has not been any serious user of this ill conceived thing since the original invention in like '95 so I recently deleted this from everywhere except the last instance in logo.c. This patch removes the last two instances in logo.c. They conditions were not useful anyway as when compiled in they would always evaluate as true. Last not least this is necessary to get the SGI IP22 and DECstation kernels to compile again. Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org> Cc: "Antonino A. 2005-07-07[PATCH] m32r: framebuffer device supportHirokazu Takata
This patch is for supporting Epson s1d13xxx framebuffer device for m32r. # Sorry, a little bigger. The Epson s1d13806 is already supported by 2.6.12 kernel, and its driver is placed as drivers/video/s1d13xxxfb.c. For the m32r, a header file include/asm-m32r/s1d13806.h was prepared for several m32r target platforms. It was originally generated by an Epson tool S1D13806CFG.EXE, and modified manually for the m32r platforms. 2005-04-16Linux-2.6.12-rc2v2.6.12-rc2Linus Torvalds
Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
